Guy Fawkes Night

Tonight Cubs celebrated Guy Fawkes night by working on the Scientist Badge. We made invisible ink and tried to decode messages. We built towers out of spaghetti and marshmallows. We then made a ‘bomb in a bag’ by dropping a packet of bicarbonate of soda into a sandwich bag containing vinegar and watching the bag explode. For a grand finale, we dropped menthos into coke and watched it explode.
