We are a new Scout Group based at Christ Church in the heart of Beckenham. We launched our Beaver Colony on 25th April 2017.
We are sponsored by Christ Church and use the Lea Wilson Hall for our meetings. We attend Church Parade once a month and ask all Beavers to take part. This is a special family service and parents are very welcome to come along. The service is usually on the first Sunday of the month from 10.30am – 11.30am.
Beaver Scouts is the youngest section of Scouting. Their activities are based around making things, outdoor activities, playing games, going out on visits, learning how to be safe and making new friends. Our Beaver Colony meets on Tuesdays during term time from 6-7pm.
Cubs is the second section of Scouting. Cubs activities focus on fun and adventure and gaining new experiences like going camping for the first time or trying out new activities like climbing. We are hoping to launch a Cub Pack in early 2018.
Scouts is the core section of the movement. Scout activities focus on challenge, adventure and gaining new skills. Scouts get the opportunity to do a huge range of exciting adventurous activities. We are hoping to launch a Scout Troop once Beavers and Cubs are established.
