Pancake Day

Last night the Cubs celebrated Pancake Day. We were visited by Luke, the curate at Christ Church, who explained the origins of Shrove Tuesday and then led a game. We then cooked pancakes, making the mixture and then cooking them on top of tin cans heated by a candle. Seemed to work well!
